In-person student engagement session: 'OneSizeFits1 - Every Child is Different’

About these sessions

Are you aged between 15-25 with an interest in science and healthcare and/or creative arts?

At Brighton and Sussex Medical school we have teamed up with the local arts charity SameSky to explore how we can use the power of the arts to bring our children’s health research to life and share it with the community!

We are looking for a group of enthusiastic students who would like to help us create interactive and engaging activities as part of our 2024 exhibition workshop.

We have an in-person interactive making session coming up on 29 August 2024, taking place at BSMS on the University of Sussex campus.

Students will receive a certificate of completion that they can use for their CV’s.

We held a series of remote sessions working with students to create art pieces, centred around the theme of 'what does personalised medicine mean to me'. If you missed these sessions, not to worry - the slides are available to download below and you can still submit your artwork if you wish to take part in these activities remotely.
