Flexible, modular learning
Our extensive range of postgraduate taught modules cover clinical, professional and research subjects in-depth. Our modular course structure allows flexible study options for part-time learning. Many modules can be studied as stand-alone units or as part of a multi-year programme of part-time study leading to a postgraduate qualification.
Alternatively, many of our modules can be taken for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes alone (without assessment). Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion for their CPD portfolio.
Single module study
Most modules involve approximately 35 hours of face-to-face teaching accompanied by 165 hours of independent learning. Teaching is usually an intensive 5-day block over one week, though some modules are taught over several weeks. For a full list of our current modules, as well as detailed information on eligibility requirements and teaching formats, please see the detailed module specifications on our dedicated single module page.
Postgraduate study, including independent study, can be recorded as external CPD hours. For further information on CPD requirements and how to claim postgraduate study as CPD please see advice published by the relevant royal college, approving body or organisation.
