Single modules

BSMS offers a wide range of subjects. Many individual postgraduate taught modules are suitable for study on a stand-alone basis. The majority of modules are run intensively over a five day period and are delivered at the University of Brighton Falmer campus or at nearby NHS centres.

Most modules can be taken either informally for Continuing Professional Development only, or with the option to complete a formal assessment and gain Masters level credits. (It may be possible to use these credits on a postgraduate course at a later date).

Please click on the modules below for a full module description and module-specific entry requirements. (It is advisable to apply early as modules become fully subscribed. Please be aware that applications received within one week of the start date of modules will only be considered in exceptional circumstances). All applications are subject to approval by the Module Leader.

Single Module applications for 2024/25 should be submitted at least three weeks before the module start date (unless otherwise stipulated). It is advisable to apply early, as modules places are on a first-come, first-served basis’ If you have any questions, please contact dme@bsms.ac.uk. Some modules offer a choice of dates.

Single module applications for 2024/25 are open.
