About this session

Ever wondered what doctors get up to out-of-hours and what an on-call shift looks like? Dr Emma Taylor-Gallardo shares her experiences of medical school, qualifying as a doctor in the NHS and what a surgical on-call looks like. Join her for an interactive lecture simulating an on-call shift and the opportunity to explore what life as a resident doctor is really like.

She attained her medical degree from Brighton and Sussex Medical School and her Masters degree in Epidemiology from the University of Oxford. She has interests in medical education, oncology and general practice. She is currently working on General Surgery and has previously worked in Haematology and Oncology.
