About this session
In October’s monthly lecture, Luke Reid will lead an exploration of how anatomical education and research influences medicine. We will take a deep dive into the larynx, an organ that allows you to live, breathe and shout.
Luke is the Deputy Head of Anatomy at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and has experience in teaching gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and histology across to undergraduate and postgraduate clinical and science programmes. His research interests are centred around computational airflow analysis of the upper aerodigestive tract, with a focus on the laryngeal airway and inducible-laryngeal obstruction.
