About this session

A new way to practise children's health is on the horizon.

In July’s monthly lecture, Prof Somnath Mukhopadhyay and Dr Tom Ruffles will be discussing onesizefits1 as opposed to the standard "one size fits all" approach. Much of this new way to treat patients depends on understanding more about a child's genes and how it interacts with the environment and the medicines the child is prescribed.

Prof Somnath Mukhopadhyay is Chair in Paediatrics and Dr Tom Ruffles is Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at BSMS. They have an interest in new ways of tailoring treatments for children's asthma and allergies to produce better results.

If you have any questions about this event, or the Monthly Lecture Series, please email the Outreach Team via outreach@bsms.ac.uk

Please note, we do not provide certificates of attendance for any of our online talks or lectures in the Monthly Lecture Series.
