About this session
Following our popular session for International Women's Day earlier this year, Dr Chi Eziefula, Senior Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), and guest speaker Jane Dancey, Somatic Health Practitioner and Educator, will be back for a discussion about menstrual health.
This fun and frank discussion is for everybody, and we encourage all to attend. There will be time for Q&As, and questions can also be submitted anonymously to the panel during the event.
The discussion will also include information about ongoing BSMS research on the theme of menstrual health and environmental sustainability.
This event is co-created with the campus community, and the conversation will be guided by questions submitted anonymously to our orange feedback boxes, which you may have seen on the Sussex and Brighton campuses.
This in-person event, co-organised with Sussex's School of Life Sciences and their Period Dignity Project work, takes place at the Meeting House on the University of Sussex campus from 12:30-1:30pm on Friday 24 November, and is free and open to all.
