About this event
Brighton and Sussex Medical School uses the generosity of individuals who donate their body to ensure high quality training of medical and allied health care students. It works with the Royal College of Surgeons to provide training to surgeons in practice, develop new surgical approaches and contributes to research on the human body. In this talk, Professor Claire Smith will explore what happens and what does not happen when a body is donated for education and research.
This talk is part of Hospice UK’s Dying Matters campaign which aims to create an open culture in which we’re comfortable talking about death, dying and grief.
This event is free and open to all, no bookings required.
