It’s difficult to talk about death and dying. It can make people feel uncomfortable and can be easy to ignore, but having conversations can allow people to talk naturally about their fears and wishes when death does come.
For the April 2021 edition of the BSMS Lecture Series, join Dr Aoife Louise as we explore tools and communication skills used by health professionals to aid patients and relatives to make informed choices about death and dying.
This lecture is part of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School's Monthly Lecture Series, designed for secondary school and college students. This lecture series, running from November 2020 through to July 2021, provides a unique opportunity for students to learn more about different aspects of medicine, career pathways, and how to get into medicine.
