Professor Dame Lesley Fallowfield is a cancer psychologist and professor at BSMS and the University of Sussex. She has made an outstanding contribution to the field of psycho-oncology. A key interest of hers is in training of communication skills for health care professionals in cancer.
Her talk will cover the need for effective communication in clinical care, the challenges, and complexities of communication prognosis in advanced cancer, and key aspects of optimal communication.
