About this session

We are all ageing, it is universal and irreversible (currently). Older adults are the fastest growing part of our population and the bulk of patients cared for by healthcare professionals. However, we don't all age in the same way.

Join Dr Tom Levett as we explore ageing in the U.K, what makes people age well or less well and what medical problems we see as people get older.

Dr Tom Levett is a Senior Lecturer in Medicine and Frailty at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and an Honorary Consultant in Elderly Medicine at the Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton.

This lecture is part of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School's Monthly Lecture Series, designed for secondary school and college students. This lecture series, running from November 2020 through to July 2021, provides a unique opportunity for students to learn more about different aspects of medicine, career pathways, and how to get into medicine.

This talk will be conducted via the Zoom videoconferencing software. Please note, if you book tickets to this event the details will be circulated at 5pm on the day of the event.

If you have any questions about this event, or the Monthly Lecture Series, please email the Outreach Team via outreach@bsms.ac.uk
