BSMS are pleased to be holding an event for BSMS staff and students, as well as staff and students at the Universities of Brighton and Sussex and our NHS colleagues are welcome to attend.

The purpose of the event is to ensure there is greater understanding of a range of clinical needs of trans people with the aim of reducing the barriers faced. Speakers will include Dr Kate Z Nambiar, Dr Arianne Shahvisi, Philip Thomas, Sara de Virion and Alex Pollard. It is taking place in the Chowen Lecture Theatre in the Medical Teaching Building on the University of Sussex campus.

The talks and Q&A will run from 12-1:30pm and lunch will be provided afterwards from 1:30-2pm. This event is part of the 'Diversity in medicine' series at BSMS.
