Hosted by the Brighton Musculoskeletal Research Centre, this conference will focus on musculoskeletal research across BSMS and the University of Brighton.
The centre, which is led by Dr Sandra Sacre, investigates the pathology of a wide range of musculoskeletal diseases, aiming to improve understanding and aid the development of new diagnostic tools and therapies.
The keynote lecture will be given by Prof Andrew Pitsillides' group from the Royal Veterinary College, and a guest lecture will be given by Dr Katherine Staines from the University of Edinburgh.
There will be presentations from students, postdoctoral fellows and principal investigators from the centre research groups. This will be followed by a poster session with a prize, followed by light refreshments.
Registration is free, with lunch and refreshments provided.
Abstracts are invited for selection for both speaker poster presentations. Abstracts can reflect current research taking place or offer an overview of work being undertaken.
The deadline for abstracts is 20 June and they should be submitted via email to: MusculoskeletalResearch@bsms.ac.uk
