Biography
Tahani Baldwin (BSc (Hons), MSc, GMBPsS) graduated from Aston University in 2022 with a degree in Psychology with Honours. Motivated by her placement year in cognitive neuropsychology and eager to pursue a career in research, she later completed her master’s degree at the University of Birmingham. During this time, she became a representative for the British Psychological Society (BPS), as a leading student ambassador and social media leader for the West Midlands, a research assistant in computational neuroscience for the Centre for Human Brain Health and has presented her work during BPS-associated conferences. Her master’s thesis explored the relationship between personality and stress in a Virtual Martian Environment. When she's not working on her PhD, Tahani also maintains an active participation in extracurricular activities. She is Chairperson of the Sussex Student Sub Aqua club, PGR representative for the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, student representative for the BPS Climate and Environmental Action Group, and Topic Coordinator for Frontiers in Virtual Reality.
