About
Suze has worked within Higher Education in London and Brighton for twenty years including roles at Kings College London, BPP Law School and the Community University Partnership Programme (Cupp), a community engagement team at the University of Brighton. During her time at Cupp, she also volunteered as a mentor for Brighton Women's Centre and completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification, spending six months teaching English in Spain.
Suze joined BSMS in 2017 and worked in the Communications team before moving to the role of Equality and Diversity Project Officer in 2020. Her current role within the EDI team focuses on supporting the coordination of the Athena Swan gender equality charter submission, leading on intersectional inclusivity projects and raising awareness of equality, diversity and wellbeing issues throughout BSMS in order to improve and promote an inclusive culture for staff and students.
Suze studied Sociology at the University of Kent and has recently completed a Masters degree in Media and Gender Studies at the University of Sussex.
