Biography

Evelyn has enjoyed an interesting route to work in the field of psychology. After obtaining a business degree, membership to the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a career in product management, it was through supporting her neurodivergent children that led to her career taking a different direction. She is a qualified therapeutic Iyengar yoga teacher and has collaborated with the Oxford NHS Occupational Therapy team working with children with sensory processing differences. She has a Psychology Certificate from Oxford University and a MSc in Psychology and the Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College, London. She is a Postgraduate Researcher at BSMS working in the field of neurodiversity-affirmative assessments for autism.

Research

Evelyn is currently undertaking a PhD exploring experiences of neurodiversity-affirmative autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people.
