Areas of expertise: Dual trainee in Intensive Care and Acute Medicine

Research areas: 

  • Use of Virtual Reality in training for the assessment and management of acutely deteriorating patients.
  • Quality Improvements around Ward rounds and Board Rounds
  • Improving Medical patients’ inpatient journey

Biography

Studied Medicine (MBBS) and graduated from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. Went on to complete an MSc in Public Health and then a PGCE in Medical Education. Currently a dual AIM and ICM trainee with KSS Deanery. Tremendous fascination with the psychology of learning and how this interdigitates with memory. Have always been a believer in behavioural change, shared-vision, teamwork and investing wholeheartedly in Quality Improvement. Highly interested in the roles of Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Teaching especially pertaining to Medical Education. Enjoy writing Poetry and Floriculture.
