About this session

Science and research are really hard, and they can be even harder when your brain works a little differently to most people.

In March’s monthly lecture, Dr Eleanor Jayawant explores her career journey to BSMS, her experience as an autistic researcher, and her work on NFκB in blood cancer.

Dr Eleanor Jayawant joined BSMS as a Research Fellow in 2021 after finishing her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Warwick. At BSMS, she uses computational modelling and laboratory experiments to understand how blood cancers develop (and how we might be able to better treat them). Outside of the lab, she is a keen advocate for underrepresented groups in STEM, and big board game lover.

If you have any questions about this event, or the Monthly Lecture Series, please email the Outreach Team via outreach@bsms.ac.uk

Please note, we do not provide certificates of attendance for any of our online talks or lectures in the Monthly Lecture Series.
